Ma’ikwe Ludwig, the executive director of Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage, is inviting you to re-think and re-envision about how we live our lives.
What do you think of when you hear the word sustainability? Organic food, wind turbines, natural building and electric cars? Those things matter for sure, but real sustainability goes well beyond the ecological choices we make, and touches on social dynamics, economics and our fundamental world view.
This workshop introduces the relationships between the four dimensions of sustainability, drawing on a curriculum developed by ecovillages all over the world. If we are going to really address issues like climate change, it is essential that we look more deeply at how we define sustainability and what we are willing to question.
The workshop will address ways to help further a deeper sustainability and community building even when people do not live together.
This workshop is a fundraiser for Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage and is sponsored by Transition Snoqualmie Valley, Tracks & Tales Nature School, and Hawthorn Farm.
Tickets are available online at http://
We are also hosting an optional potluck at 4pm. Please bring a healthy dish to share!
